And then, perhaps out there, there's some slightly curmudgeonly bookish soul with a heart of gold (I'm picturing maybe the bookstore owner from The Neverending Story...), who says to her/himself, "Golly, if only I knew what books Sara wishes she had - then I could buy her one as a surprise gift from a perfect stranger. Wouldn't that be the best ever?"

WELL, far be it for me to deny anyone that particular pleasure.
